Target Audience:

This educational activity will target psychiatrists, primary care physicians and other healthcare practitioners who see a significant number of patients with mental illness. The webinar format is chosen because it provides a convenient and cost-effective method of obtaining current information.


Educational Objectives:

The series will address the following Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the importance of a fully integrated management team in optimizing patient outcomes and the barriers to communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Determine the optimal pharmaceutical regiment for the management of schizophrenia.
  • Discuss the importance of treatment adherence in managing schizophrenia.
  • Evaluate the efficacy and safety profiles of current and emerging therapies for the treatment of schizophrenia and assess how clinicians can apply this information to improve adherence rates.
